We encourage our people to express their faith in God, in the Community
Mission & Ministry
St James Presbyterian Church has served the community of Newtown since 1882. Established at the time of the development of the Suburb, St James has responded to the changing needs of a changing community.
The English language Congregation is of moderate size and is a close knit and welcoming community, welcoming visitors and those seeking to find or strengthen their relationship with God.
